SKINIT HIRES DESIGN INDUSTRY SUPERSTAR TO HEAD UP DESIGN STRATEGY AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Frank Tyneski brings award-winning track record to Skinit's executive roster
San Diego, CA, July 14, 2009. - Skinit, Inc., the leader in consumer personalization for electronic devices, today announced that it has appointed Frank Tyneski as Skinit's vice president of design strategy/product development.

With an award-winning track record at Motorola, RIM Blackberry and Kyocera, Tyneski most recently served as executive director of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), a professional organization dedicated to advancing the quality and positive impact of design. A recipient of numerous industry awards for design excellence, including BusinessWeek's Design of the Decade award, Tyneski holds more than 50 domestic and foreign patents. He graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Tyneski's expertise will contribute to both Skinit's B2B technology platform and the company's direct-to-consumer products.
"My primary focus is B2B, working with retailers and manufacturers to build opportunity together," said Tyneski. "At the same time, allowing consumers to personalize products on their terms is a white hot market, and Skinit is right there at the inflection point."
Drawing on his extensive design and B2B enterprise experience, Tyneski views customization and personalization as the next wave in product differentiation.
