
Bettina began her career as a painter studying art and design at the Rhode Island School of Design. She later studied at the University of California, San Diego where she focused on film/theatre and communications.
The BETTINA MARKS Collections represent contemporary original designs created by Bettina and other exemplary artists under her direction. Her unique "sophisticated contemporary" style, refined colors and chic sensibility is fun, feminine and energetic.
Bettina Marks designs have appeared in the New York Times, Seventeen Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Spiegel Catalogues, Japanese Newspapers, Fabric and Fashion Magazine, En Moda Magazine, Home Furnishings Digest and Pottery Barn Catalogues. Her designs have given brand identity to the trendiest designers on Seventh Avenue including Tommy Hilfiger, Adrienne Vittadini and Ralph Lauren and leaders in home fashions including Westpoint Stevens, Hanover Direct, and Brittanica Home Fashions.
Her fine art has been exhibited at the Hudson River Museum, the Franklin Furnace Archives, the University of California and other venues. Ms. Marks has taught painting and design at the Parsons School of Design and is an adjunct professor at Hofstra University.
Inspired by nature, she resides on the ocean just 25 miles from midtown Manhattan.
