SkinIt uses durable, automotive-grade 3M™ Vinyl for easy application and residue-free removal. Our Skins have been designed to perfectly fit the unique contour of your device. They are ultra low-profile, ensuring that they will not interfere with docks, chargers or other accessories. SkinIt uses state-of-the-art digital presses to provide vibrant, photo quality graphics.

• What is a Skin?
  A Skin is a protective and durable vinyl adhesive with photo quality graphics printed on it. Our Skins are designed to fit the unique contour of the specific device they are made for.

  Our Skins are printed on durable, automotive-grade 3M™ Vinyl for easy application and residue-free removal.

• How do I apply a Skin?
  Step 1 - CLEAN IT!
  

  - The surface that a Skin sticks to must be as clean as possible.
  

  
  Step 2 - PEEL IT!
  

  - Avoid stretching the Skin when removing it from the backing. Do not tug at the narrow parts. Start at the corner and gradually peel off a small area at a time.
  

  
  Step 3 - APPLY IT!
  

  - Line your Skin up over the top of your device. Apply it slowly from the middle. Push the skin towards the edges of your device removing any air bubbles as you go.

  Our device library contains thousands of devices to choose from and we are constantly updating it with the latest consumer electronics on the market.
  
• What Skin designs do you offer?

  We have thousands of designs to choose from, including top brands in sports, entertainment, and art.

  Our Customizer™ lets you design your own Skins using photos, images, text, symbols and many of our designs to create entirely personalized Skins. Show your passion or create something entirely new, and unique!

  *Due to licensing agreements some Skins may not be available for certain devices or available for shipment to certain countries.

• What is a customized Skin?

  Our Customizer™ lets you design your own Skins using photos, images, text, symbols and many of our designs to create entirely personalized skins.

  When using images and photos to customize a skin please use the following guidelines:

  • Small Device (Cell Phones, MP3 Players, Etc...)
  • Minimum Recommendation: 600 x 600 Pixels
  • Large Device (Laptops, Netbooks, eBooks, Etc...)
  • Minimum Recommendation: 2000 x 2000 Pixels
  • Acceptable Image File Types:
  • JPG, PNG, BMP, EPS, AI
  • Maximum File Size:
  • 10 Megabytes

  When using images and photos to customize a skin please use the following guidelines:

• Will a Skin affect my device warranty?
  Typically, the application of a Skin will not void a device warranty, but we recommend reviewing your warranty to be certain. Skinit shall not be responsible for replacing any devices due to paint chipping, peeling, or removal of any coating of devices due to removal of Skins.
  

  Although Skins are typically easily removed from devices that are painted with adequate paint curing, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the device being Skinned has adequate paint curing before applying their Skin. Skinit will not be responsible for any damage caused by customization that was not already covered under your warranty.

For our Tailgate Packs we use a premium quality automotive grade material that ensures easy, air bubble free application and simple, residue free removal. Tailgate Packs are also ultra-low profile and use photo quality imaging. Use them for a special game or all season long!

• What is a Tailgate Pack?
  Tailgate Packs are photo-quality decals that can be applied to your vehicle to support your favorite sports team.
  

  Our Tailgate Packs are printed on a premium quality automotive grade material that ensures easy, air bubble free application and simple, residue free removal. Tailgate Packs are also ultra-low profile and use photo quality imaging.

• How do I apply a Tailgate Pack?
  Make sure the area you are applying your Tailgate Skin to is completely clean, dry and free from dirt or residue that will keep it from adhering. You should ideally wash your vehicle before applying your Tailgate Skin, but do not wax the vehicle.
  

  The ideal surface for your Tailgate Skin is smooth, flat and clean. Choose an area on your vehicle that is free of ridges, bumps or sharp angels.

  
  Step 1

  Wash and rinse the area thoroughly. (Tailgate Skins should be applied to a freshly washed vehicle. Do not wax the vehicle before applying the Tailgate Skin.)

  Step 2

  Pick a starting point on your Tailgate Skin on the edge. Gradually peel back the backing paper exposing the adhesive side of the Tailgate Skin. Do this slowly and take your time.

  Step 3

  Place the Tailgate Skin onto the surface of the car and remove any bubbles by using the provided squeegee to smooth out the tailgate skin, pressing from the center out.

  NOTE: Tailgate Skins should not be applied to a vehicle while too hot due to exposure to the sun, or too cold for exposure to sub-zero temperatures. Temperature extremes will cause bubbling.
  

  

• What are the different sizes for Tailgate Packs?

  Our Tailgate Team Packs come in multiple sizes:

  Extra Small Pack - 11'' x 17''
  Small Pack - 25'' x 25''
  Medium Pack - 49'' x 25''
  Large Pack - 49'' x 55''
  Extra Large Pack - 49'' x 105''
  

  Custom Tailgate Packs come in a variety of sizes. Tailgate Skin dimensions are displayed in the Customizer.

  *Not all sizes are available for every design on the website and prices will vary.

• What is the CutTool?
  Our innovative CutTool allows you to easily cut out your team logo or favorite athlete in action by clicking points around the area you wish to cut. The line between the points auto-adjust along the edge of the image. Using the CutTool along with the Customizer™, you can use designs, shapes and colors to create original art, modify uploaded pictures, or choose from our own background images.
  

  Please use high resolution images and photos when creating a custom Tailgate Skin. We recommend using images and photos with a minimum size of 3000 x 3000 Pixels.

Our pre-designed WallSkins are printed on proprietary 3M™ non-PVC material. For Custom WallSkins we offer three different types of material to choose from. A Custom WallSkin can be printed on high-grade archival poster paper, premium quality Auto-Grade Safe Adhesive Vinyl, and proprietary 3M™ non-PVC material. Our poster paper is the same durable material used in advertising posters and also indoor and outdoor signage. Our adhesive materials are specially designed for vehicle and indoor use, and will not leave any residue when removed. We print all our WallSkins using an advanced technology to give you the most vivid colors and highest detail possible. In combination with the materials we use, you end up with the best quality available!

• What is a WallSkin?

  WallSkins are photo-quality life-sized decals/ posters that can be applied in any room, in the home or office. WallSkins allow users to make any space their own and offers endless possibilities for them to express themselves in their surroundings.

• How do I apply a WallSkin?

  The ideal WallSkin application surface is smooth, flat and dry. We suggest finished drywall, sheetrock and wood surfaces. Your WallSkin can also be placed on indoor paneling, doors and glass.

  The Premium Quality Auto-Grade Safe Adhesive Vinyl is only meant to be applied to vehicles.
  

  We do not recommend applying your WallSkin on the following surfaces:

  - Textured walls, Wall Paper, Cinder block, Brick, Cement, Outdoors, Soiled Surfaces
  
  Step 1 - Find the perfect spot for your WallSkin and Clean It
  

  Your new WallSkin will adhere best to a clean, dry surface. Please wash or dust the surface you plan to place your WallSkin on with a dry or damp cloth. Do not use any chemicals or soap. It is very important that the surface is completely dry prior to application.

  Step 2 - Roll It
  

  Unroll your WallSkin and allow 3-5 hours to flatten.
  

  Step 3 - Peel It
  

  Most Wallskins require two people to apply. Your WallSkin should be removed very carefully from the backing. First, remove the outer portion that will not be placed on the wall. Then slowly and gently remove your design. One person should be holding the graphic while another pulls the backing. Some larger graphics are split into two pieces to make application simpler. In this instance, please remove one portion at a time for easiest application.
  

  Step 4 - And finally...Skin It
  

  Once you have removed your WallSkin, place one corner on the wall surface and slowly, moving outward, press down while removing any air bubbles or wrinkles.
  
• What are the different sizes for Wallskins?
  We have a wide variety of sizes to choose from on the website. The available WallSkin sizes are displayed when viewing a specific pre-designed WallSkin.
  

  For Custom WallSkins you control the size to fit whatever you need.

• What is a Protection Screen?
  Our Protection Screens protect your device screen from damaging scrapes and scratches. It provides superior protection from dirt and dust that comes with the daily use of your device. Easy to apply and removes with no sticky residue.
  
• How do I apply the Protection Screen?
  • Clean your device with a cloth removing any dirt, oils, and smudges.
  • Follow the directions that are on the tabs attached to the Protection Screen.
  • Peel off the first thin film and apply the exposed sticky side to the device.
  • Press firmly to remove any bubbles.
  • Peel off secondary thin film attached to top layer of the Protection Screen.

  
  
• If I have a Skin and a Protection Screen, which one do I apply first?
  A Protection Screen can be applied with or without a Skin. If you plan to use a skin with the Protection Screen then apply the Protection Screen to the device first and then apply the Skin.
  
• What devices can I put a Protection Screen on?
  Protection Screens are available for a number of devices. When you select your device you will be given the option to purchase a Protection Screen if it is available for that particular device.
  
• Do I get a discount if I purchase an accessory and a Skin?
  When an accessory such as a Protection Screen is purchased with a Skin, your order will receive a discount.

• What is a Clear Case?
  Our Clear Cases are perfect for protecting your device from scratches and dirt. They provide durable, lightweight protection with the added benefit of personalization when combined with one of our Skins!
  
• How do I apply the Clear Case?
  • Insert one end of your device into the Clear Case and then press on the other end of your device fully snapping it into the case.
  • Peel off any clear thin film attached to the back of the Clear Case.
